Naomi is now 9 months old (as of yesterday). At her 9 month doctor's visit last Thursday, she weighed 21 lbs. 13 oz. and measured 29.75". She's above the 95th percentile for height and at the 90th percentile for weight. Her doctor is really pleased with her progress and said that she's growing well.
Here's a little about her at 9 months:
Her favorite toys are Tigger, her red puppy (she' been playing with this one since she was 2 months old), birdie (attached to her car seat), and Harold the bear.
She loves crawling and following one of us all around the house. She can crawl over the stairs as well. She's also totally into standing up by herself while holding onto something. Lately she's been following me into the bathroom and has made attempts to jump into the bathtub as I fill it with water before her bath. She loves bath time, and splashes water all over the bathroom.
She enjoys watching her Praise Baby videos. She also loves my phone. She has started showing a lot of interest in books now, she now wants to look at the book and turn pages. This has been a change from wanting to eat her books all the time.
She still loves milk, and especially enjoys her night feedings. Her current favorite solid food is yogurt. She enjoys eating bananas, blueberries, blackberries, mangoes, cheese, mac n cheese, avocados, salmon, and bread. Her favorite soups are pasta soup, potato and leek soup, and chicken and wild rice soup.
She is still being burrito-wrapped at night though she does try to get out of it often. We're trying to transition to a sleep sack from a swaddle blanket. She likes to sleep on her side, turning towards her right.
She likes going out for walks and hanging out with us in general. She also loves cuddling up with us in bed over the weekend sometimes!
